Kevin Kegham, video editor, Instructor Kevin is an Avid Certified Instructor and teaches the art of editing and post-production workflows at Chapman University’s Dodge College, Cal State LA, and the New York Film Academy. His approach to teaching is deeply influenced by his experience as a licensed soccer coach, Mentoring with holistic approach, structure, encouragement, inspiration, and a focus on building confidence.In addition to his editorial and teaching work, Kevin actively supports the integration of AI into post-production workflows, always seeking ways to streamline the process without losing the human touch. He also developed the Assistant Editor Toolkit, a workflow automation app designed to ease the technical burden on assistant editors and create more space for creativity.

Michael P. Mason - Editor A graduate of Norman Jewison's Canadian Film Centre, Michael has worked as a film & television editor, and producer for 20+ years. He began his career directing and producing music videos, where he earned a Leo Award nomination for 'Best Music Video' and 'Best Director' by the West Coast Music Awards. Michael produced and edited the comedy feature A Bug and A Bag of Weed, as well as numerous multi-award winning shorts, including Burgeon And Fade, starring Sarah Gadon (TIFF), and the trio of 'Candice & Peter' shorts. As an Editor, Michael has edited features that have screened in theatres and won awards at festivals around the world, including Cabin Fever: Patient Zero, The Banana Splits Movie, and Lucy Walker's Bring Your Own Brigade, which premiered at Sundance in 2021. Michael recently edited the western, Place of Bones, starring Heather Graham and Tom Hopper, that was released in theaters last year and is now available on Paramount Movies. In addition to his work in film, Michael has edited TV series for such networks and streamers as Shudder, SyFy, Discovery+, BBC, and MTV, including the upcoming season 6 of the AMC+ series Slasher, and Eli Roth's horror anthology The Haunted Museum.

Saif Ayoob – Filmmaker, Post-Production Specialist, Creative Director Saif Alshareef (AKA Saif Ayoob) is an imaginative and technically skilled filmmaker with over 15 years of experience in the global film and media industry. Starting his career in Dubai, Saif has built an impressive body of work that spans independent films, commercials, documentaries, and branded content. His signature style blends bold storytelling with cutting-edge post-production techniques to deliver emotionally resonant and visually captivating narratives. Saif's expertise covers the full spectrum of the production pipeline, with a particular focus on post-production. He is highly proficient in professional editing platforms, motion graphics, VFX, and advanced color grading, allowing him to elevate storytelling through visual precision and creative innovation. Known for his collaborative approach, Saif thrives in dynamic environments and consistently brings out the best in talent both on and off screen. Beyond his technical skills, Saif is a passionate advocate for independent cinema and emerging voices. He believes in using technology to enhance—not replace—authentic storytelling. As a panelist, he brings deep insight into how post-production tools are reshaping the creative process and expanding what's possible in modern filmmaking.Currently based in Los Angeles, Saif continues to push boundaries through his company Creative Lab 1 and upcoming narrative projects

Troy Takaki - Editor Troy Takaki, ACE, is a veteran film and television editor known for his versatile work across both features and TV. With a career spanning over three decades, he has edited box office hits like Sweet Home Alabama (Reese Witherspoon) and Hitch (Will Smith), as well as popular series including Desperate Housewives, Ally McBeal, and Netflix’s YOU. His work also includes films such as Fool’s Gold, The Bounty Hunter, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and the Disney reboot Cheaper by the Dozen. A champion of education and mentorship, Takaki has supported aspiring editors through the ACE Internship Program since 2003 and founded the ACE Diversity Mentorship Program in 2015 to uplift underrepresented voices in post-production. For his efforts, he received the 2023 Sundance/Adobe Mentorship For Fiction award. He also teaches "Career Planning in Post-Production" as an adjunct professor at Columbia College Chicago. Takaki recently won an ACE Eddie Award for his work on the docuseries Escaping Twin Flames and is currently editing the feature Italianna for Universal. With a passion for both storytelling and community building, Takaki continues to shape the future of editing on and off the screen
