Howard Casner, Screenwriter, Script Consultant Howard Casner is a screenwriter and script consultant. In the past he has been a reader for contests such as the Slamdance Screenplay Competition, Final Draft Big Break Competition and the International Screenwriters Association, as well as for Here! Networks. He is the author of eight screenplays, one teleplay, the screenwriting book (2nd ed.) Anthony Francis, Film Critic, Journalist, Screenwriter, Director Anthony Francis is a Film Critic and Journalist residing on the East Coast. After writing film reviews for an Illinois paper, Anthony worked for the Roger Ebert Overlooked Film Festival for a time. There he interviewed visiting guests (filmmakers, writers, actors/actresses) and was involved in panel discussions with the attending talent. In 2010, Anthony became a writer/reviewer for Hellnotes.com where he reviewed films and books and wrote essays on the film world. Anthony is also the screenwriter and director of an independent film that is awaiting pre-production.Currently, he is the Senior Film Reviewer for Screencomment.com, where he has published numerous film reviews and articles and has conducted interviews with several artists in the film and television communities. Andrew Garrett, Screenwriter Andrew Garrett grew up in rural and not-so-rural parts of Oklahoma, and is of Irish, English, and Native American descent. A graduate of Booker T. Washington High School (Tulsa) and Oklahoma City University, he beat his head against the brick wall of science for a while before giving in and "coming home" to English. A bout with Ewing's Sarcoma bone cancer in 1999 made him rethink his priorities; he and his new bride packed up and transplanted themselves to the Greater Los Angeles area. He has mostly worked in the video game industry for the last decade (and has most recently followed it to Las Vegas)--he plies his trade by day and tries his plays by night.
